About Us

Our mission at Orthomolecular Nutrition and Wellness Center is to incorporate   the science of healing that address the whole person.  In practice, this means that every person is seen as a unique individual, so we cater your specific modalities to your specific needs rather than an example of a particular disease.

The goal of Orthomolecular Nutrition is to restore the body's optimal environment by correcting imbalances or deficiencies based on individual biochemistry by using natural substances such as vitamins, minerals, trace elements and amino acids.

Our role to you as your practitioner is as guide, educator, mentor, and role model, helping the patient not only with Functional Medicine practices, but also Naturopathic therapies to promote the individuals natural healing processes.

"Start Living Healthy Today, so you can start living a better Quality of Life Tomorrow"

Dr. Jean Allen, DO

Dr. Jean Allen, DO is an osteopathic family practice physician who specializes in Anti-Aging and Regenerative medicine including all wellness issues. She has been successfully treating both male and female patients with hormone imbalances and other wellness disturbances for over 12 years.

Dr. Allen’s services include the following: family medicine, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, nutritional therapy, homeopathic medicine, adrenal and thyroid balancing, gastrointestinal health restoration, neurofeedback, mesotherapy, and weight loss. Dr. Allen also effectively treats patients who have sustained either a motor vehicle or a personal injury accident with excellent and often quick health restoration.

Dr. Jean Allen is often distinguished from other bio- identical hormone doctors because her integrative approach is much more comprehensive. Saliva hormone testing is done to evaluate the patient’s adrenal cortisol and dhea levels. It also is one of the best methods to determine someone’s sex hormone levels. These include testosterone, progesterone and three different types of estrogens. A urine estrogen metabolite test may also be done. It is valuable to see how the body is managing the estrogen breakdown products or metabolites.

Dr. Jean Allen completed her Osteopathic Medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an internship and one year of an Internal Medicine residency in the Philadelphia area. She later went on to finish her Family Practice residency with the University of Florida and became board certified that same year in 1990.

Dr. Allen is a fellow of the American Academy of AntiAging and Regenerative Medicine. She is also a member of the American Academy for the Advancement in Medicine, Life Extension Foundation and the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association.
